Adam Beyer's long-awaited return to Printworks with Re-Generate

We witness the return of Adam Beyer to Printworks, one of the most prestigious venues in the UK, for the Re-Generate EP release.

After four years without going through Printworks, Adam Beyer returned to the iconic London club to present his new collaboration with Kevin Saunderson. A set of remixes to bring back the album Heavenly 1998, a mix of Detroit techno tracks of the time with the most current. Not only Adam Beyer participated but also great artists like Amelie Lens, Bart Skils, DJ Bone, DJ Minx, Layton Giordani, Len Faki, RebuKe, Robert Hood, rRoxymore, Special Request, Tygapaw and Wehbba.

It was the presentation of release number 250 of Drumcode. During the event we enjoyed this set of innovative remixes in the main room at the controls of effy, Bart skills, Rebüke, Kevin Saunderson with his aka E Dancer, Len Faki and Adam Beyer himself.

Due to the circumstances of the pandemic to be able to access the event, you had to present the vaccination certificate with its respective QR, otherwise you couldn't enter. In case you didn't have the certificate, you had to present a Negative PCR. All this after validating the requirements and an exhaustive security control.

We accessed printworks at 16 in the afternoon. It was a rainy day in London but the atmosphere to enter was already anticipated in the queue. Despite the bad weather conditions, it was a great date for all techno lovers. Welcomed us Rebuke, dj forged in the sizzling atmospheres of the Irish underground music scene. One of the artists to watch out for in the coming years,

Rebūke is a DJ and producer who creates something new and really exciting. A clash of sound from techno, house and rave records from the early '90s creates that elusive thing: a sound of its own. Note that it was his debut at printworks, in addition to the moment in which you played the track Savage & Beyond, presented in this new remix compilation.

Then it was the turn of Kevin Saunderson, main collaborator of the event together with Adam Beyer. Born in Brooklyn, he's one of the creators of techno music, specifically in Detroit, who dedicated us a set with typical tracks of that time, causing a feeling of nostalgia to all fans of this style.

Picked up the witness Len Faki, German dj known worldwide for being a resident of one of the most influential clubs such as Berghain. He perform a set like the ones we're used to with dark techno with great force. Like Rebüke, highlight the remix of the track Warp as a presentation to this new album.

Finally, it was the turn of one of the current techno titans and the total protagonist of this event: Adam Beyer. We take our hats off to such a set from the Swede. After presenting his new remix to the track World Of Deep of his good friend Kevin Saunderson; he dedicate us a brutal closing session that every last attendee of this iconic room enjoyed.

During the event we alternated the main room with this new room just presented at Printworks called inwells. This room is dedicated to the strongest and fastest techno, with a low ceiling and columns for lovers of the most underground Berlin-style techno. We enjoyed Elli Acula, Cici, Fred P. Steffi and a great closing of the hand of the fjaak.

In summary, the return of Adam Beyer was a magnificent experience at a great club like Printworks London, of which everyone who goes, only hopes to return soon to enjoy the best techno with the artists of the moment. The party continued in the official after of the event in Village Underground with the presence of Uakoz b2b Akoriz, Rebüke, Kevin Saunderson y Cici until the wee hours of the morning. We will be back!
