Audiotistic announces the lineup that will make up its annual Bay Area edition on November 20 & 21 at Shoreline Amphitheater.
Originating in the San Francisco Bay Area, Audiotistic was born as an standalone festival in 2010 and 2011, but made a powerful comeback in 2017. Constantly pushing boundaries, Insomniac Events managed to successfully curate a lineup blending two of the biggest scenes in the Bay Area: electronic music and hip hop.
In just one day, people enjoyed sets from notable names in the bass and trap music scene like Ghastly, Slander, Flosstradamus and Marshmellohouse artists JOYRYDE and Dombresky, and modern hip hop star Lil Uzi Vert. Everyone who attended that first Audiotistic can agree on one thing; there was something about this festival that stood out from other big events. This single day festival marked a monumental moment in the Bay Area, constantly growing and never failing to impress.
Now, Audiotistic turned into one of the most prominent Bay Area festivals; it has gained both national and International attention. Originally scheduled for July, Insomniac delivered the sad news of having to cancel those dates due to pandemic-related issues. However, things are now starting to change for the better; it has just been announced that Audiotistic will in fact be happening this year, the new confirmed dates are November 20-21. Apart from confirming the new dates, Insomniac has also decided to bless us with the festival’s mind-blowing line up.
Just when you think it's impossible for Insomniac to surpass their previous lineups, they somehow manage to do so; this is exactly what happened with this year’s Audiotistic. Featuring two days full of talented artists across all musical spectrums, the bar is definitely set high. Like previous years, there will be two stages providing a clever divide: Frequency 1.1 and Frequency 2.2.
During the first day of Audiotistic, Alison Wonderland will headline the Frequency 1.1 stage, and will share it with Zookeeper, Blossom, volac, Dr Fresch, habstrakt, Wax Motif and a very special B2B set by Kayzo y subtronics. For a change of atmosphere, festival goers can make their way towards Frequency 2.2 (hosted by Bite This) with Rossy, Yula, Level Up, Moore Kismet, Skepsis, noizu, drezo, k? d, and a headlining set from Jauz.
Insomniac changes up the energy on Sunday, having playboy Carti headline Frequency 1.1 and sharing the stage with juelz, Softest Hard, William Black, JSTJR, SVDDEN DEATH, Tchami y Slander. Lovers of house can walk on over to Frequency 2.2 that same day to enjoy sets from Fireplace, nostalgix, Eli Brown, Dombresky, Walker & Royce, Meduza and a headlining set from Claptone.
With everything returning to "normal," we are very excited to see the return of Audiotistic. For more information, access Audiotistic's official website, we'll see you in November!
