Bassrush Records releases the first compilation of the Discover Dubstep project with a total of ten productions.
Many people probably don't remember it, but Bassrush Records & Discovery Project started a project in November 2020. Discovery Project, for those who may not know it, was created by Insomniac Events to give a voice to emerging artists in the world of electronic music. With the goal of cultivating the untapped talent of the scene.
Last year Insomniac's partnered with Bassrush to launch the series DiscoverX; a new initiative in which the Discovery team teams up with the Insomniac record labels to focus on different genres. The first genre chosen is the Dubstep. There were many producers who sent a song to be valued and finally it is known the participants of this, as well as the release of all.
The first compilation of this project is made up of a total of ten productions. More and less recognized artists nowadays, but that's what this project is about. The producer ahee is in a state, in which not to release music and stand out in discographies. Present the song Killer Thriller, after excelling in Subsidia Records (Dawn Vol.2 & Dawn Vol.3), Gravitas Recordings with Emergence, and Splice Ops EP on Cyclops Recordings. In second place we have the producer YVNG JALAPEÑO, an expert in producing experimental music, and he releases the song Underground. He has recently released his Lunatic EP via Bite This!.
Possibly one of the stellar collaborations of this compilation, the formation between Jinx & Stellar. They present the production Cosmic Haze , starting off a very catchy beat, combining downtempo oriented bubble textures. We continue with the producer YKES and her song Selecta, adding heavy bass. The second collaboration in the compilation comes from Kromuh & Spades with the song Shook. It has a more defined line and a well-fitted sound design, like the usual ones in WAKAAN. Another new collaboration, this time for Gypsy & ROYALFLU $ H, more influence in the Trap, with The Time Is Now.
In seventh position we have the song X by the French producer sebjin, specialized in metallic sounds and powerful kicks. The duo Dario Pedracci & David Rangel, better known as Slang dogs and experts in offering a horror experience in their tracks, present Blood. The producer AG free production called FIUs And on the other hand VLCN, the song Pull Up.
A first compilation with new talents looking to gain a foothold in the industry. We hope that appearing here will propel they into them career with new opportunities. You can listen to the first compilation on all platforms.
