Hardstyle Awards announces the winners of its first edition

Hardstyle Awards, the new initiative of Hard News & Hardstyle.com, has announced the winners in the first edition of its history.

The new initiative of Hard News and Hardstyle.com, Hardstyle Awards, has announced the first winners in its history via livestreaming. It has been a great success, since they have counted up 30.000 votes. A different event, in which you not only vote for the artists' tracks as usually happens on Q-dance, I AM HARDSTYLE or Masters of Hardcore, but also other aspects to value, such as an album, a label or a set in particular.

In the category of best artist, Rebelion. A more than deserved award, and that will culminate with great acts this 2023 such as X-qlusive or Ultra Miami. Regarding to best album, Sub Zero Project with 'Renaissance of Rave'. Tracks like 'Live Fast Die Young' & 'Nightwatch Underground' have been to many of this year's endshows, aftermovies, and sets. Proud of both duos, their label Dirty Workz, who have won the award for best label. They've celebrated their 15 years of existence by touring around the world, consecrating themselves at Ultra Miami as host, one of the best festivals in the world.

THE GANG have been one of the sensations of the year. The duo formed by Sickmode and Rooler have been one of the most acclaimed live acts by all hardstyle fans and that is why they've won the award for best set at REBiRTH and best track with 'CLUB BANGER'. Last but not least, Cryex has been chosen as the best talent of the current scene. Since his performance at our online festival in 2020, he has grown to collaborate with rawstyle heavyweights like Act of Rage, Warface and Radical Redemption.

One of the most special moments of streaming. Delete was recognized in the streaming itself with a 'Honorable Mention'. The recognition of a legend that will never be forgotten and that we miss more every day.

Congratulate both Hard News as to the platform Hardstyle.com who have brought a new way of voting what happened in the hardstyle scene during the last 12 months. We hope it will be the first edition of many and we will continue to value a musical genre that is currently growing by leaps and bounds. Happy New Year to everyone!

About Erik

One summer of 2014 I wondered what an electronic music festival would be like and 5 years later, I wonder what would become of me without such a festival regularly..
