SAGA Festival, born from the union of ALDA Events & Insomniac Events, gets the green light from the Government to celebrate its first edition.
After several months of uncertainty, the Romanian Government has officially given the green light to SAGA Festival to go ahead with its first edition between September 10 and 12, 2021. The festival organized by the two leading promoters in their respective continents will receive attendees from more than 40 countries and 6 continents.
On August 1, some of the restrictions in force in Romania were lifted for the peace of mind of attendees and promoters. A ray of light in the tremendous darkness looming over festivals in Europe. The number of people allowed at the events has increased to 75.000, which comes at the perfect time for the SAGA Festival to be held in full swing in September, to the delight not only of Romanian visitors, but of those from all over the world.

Getting the green light to celebrate its first edition after having to be postponed previously has surely been a difficult task but it's a turning point for what the future of this edition will hold. All those who want to attend the festival will be required one of all these options:
Being between 15 and 180 days after contracting the virus.
Show proof of vaccination with certificate.
Present a negative result of a rapid antigen test.
Present a negative result from a PCR test that is no more than 72 hours old.
"We have approved the relaxation measures of the restrictions from August 1. Relaxation is a strong word today, because these measures are not relaxed much, many of them are maintained. I would mention the cultural-artistic and entertainment activities organized in open spaces with participation of at most 75.000 people in localities with an incidence less than or equal to 2 per thousand inhabitants. Very important condition - participants must be vaccinated or tested."
Florin Cîțu, Romanian Prime Minister
