Ultra Worldwide kicks off its tour in Asia

Ultra Worldwide returns to the Asian continent during this month of September with some events divided between Japan, Korea and Bali.

Ultra Worldwide is back on one of your favorite continents with 6 events in practically a month. We say favorite, because when in the pandemic there was nothing but darkness in the music industry, Ultra Taiwan appeared as a ray of hope for all the festivals. Additionally, both Ultra Korea and Ultra Japan are two of the longest-running events for the Ultra brand. Let's now review each of their upcoming events in Asia.

ULTRA JAPAN + RESISTANCE | September 17 – 18

Located in Tokyo, it was our first Ultra brand event on the Asian continent. Following the line of a stage longer than tall, the venue is perfect. It's located in the Tokyo Odaiba Ultra Park and is surrounded by both the train track and several buildings. Highlight the presence of ZEDD in the line up, who is already one of the most acclaimed artists in Asia. Regarding RESISTANCE, it has its own event at the Womb nightclub.

Line Up: Afrojack, KSHMR, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Oliver Heldens, Timmy Trumpet, ZEDD & many more.

RESISTANCE Line Up: Popof b2b Space 92 present Turbulences & Julian Jeweil.

ULTRA KOREA | September 24 – 25

Personally, the best Ultra you will find in the Asian continent, even more so with its return to the Olympic Stadium. Just by looking at the photo you'll understand why. Over the years the best DJs in the world have passed and even in its 2019 edition they were able to overcome all adversity with a line up that included Kayzo closing the festival and even Porter Robinson under his name and alias Virtual Self. In this case, RESISTANCE brand is included within the event.

Line Up: Adam Beyer, KSHMR; Marshmello, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Nicole Moudaber, Oliver Heldens, Sasha, Timmy Trumpet & many more.

ULTRA (BEACH) BALI + RESISTANCE | September 29 – October 1

Possibly the most unknown of all, but perhaps the most exclusive in terms of line up. In addition to the already classic Ultra headliners like Afrojack or Oliver Heldens, will have the presence of Black Tiger Sex Machine. Unique in terms of visuals, they fit perfectly in an Ultra setting. A massive line up with high level supports like Dubvision and Cesqeaux. Just like Ultra Japan, RESISTANCE has its own host outside the festival, specifically in Savaya Bali on October 1.

Line Up: Afrojack, Alesso, John Summit, KSHMR, Oliver Heldens, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Fedde Le Grand, MaRLo, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano & many more.

Resistance Line Up: TBA.

If you want to attend any of these events, you can buy your tickets at the Ultra Worldwide website. For many years, Ultra surrounded the world with its events and once the pandemic is over, it's time to do it again. In this video, you can see many of all those locations.

About Erik

One summer of 2014 I wondered what an electronic music festival would be like and 5 years later, I wonder what would become of me without such a festival regularly..
